LKS LLC (d/b/a Chinology) — us-chinology.com

Last Updated: April 13, 2026

IMPORTANT NOTICE

THIS POLICY GOVERNS ALL RECURRING PURCHASE PROGRAMS OFFERED BY CHINOLOGY AND APPLIES IN ADDITION TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE AND OUR RETURN, REFUND, AND CANCELLATION POLICY.

BY ENROLLING IN A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE, YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE TO THE TERMS OUTLINED BELOW, INCLUDING:

  • AUTOMATIC RECURRING CHARGES TO YOUR PAYMENT METHOD;
  • THE BILLING FREQUENCY AND AMOUNT DISPLAYED AT CHECKOUT;
  • THE CANCELLATION DEADLINES SET FORTH IN THIS POLICY.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ENROLLING.

🔐 Manage, pause, skip, or cancel your subscription anytime before your next billing date: 👉 https://www.us-chinology.com/a/loop_subscriptions/customer

1. SUBSCRIPTION OVERVIEW AND ENROLLMENT

1.1 What Is a Subscription

Chinology offers optional subscription programs ("Subscription Services") that provide automatic recurring deliveries of selected Chinology products at the frequency selected by the customer at checkout.

Subscription enrollment is entirely optional. A non-subscription, one-time purchase option is available for every Chinology product.

1.2 Affirmative Consent at Checkout

Subscription enrollment requires affirmative customer consent at the time of purchase. At checkout, you will be presented with:

  • A clear and conspicuous disclosure of the recurring nature of the subscription;
  • The exact renewal price, including any difference from the introductory or first-order price;
  • The billing frequency (e.g., every 30 days);
  • The cancellation procedure;
  • A clearly labeled and unchecked button or checkbox you must affirmatively activate to enroll.

Your affirmative action constitutes legally binding electronic consent to recurring charges, pursuant to the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and applicable state law.

2. INITIAL OFFER AND RENEWAL PRICING DISCLOSURE

2.1 Distinction Between Initial Order and Subsequent Renewals

The price of your first subscription order may include a promotional discount (introductory pricing). Subsequent renewal orders will be charged at the then-current standard subscription price displayed at checkout, which may be higher than the introductory price.

The renewal price applicable to your subscription is displayed:

  • During the checkout flow, prior to your enrollment;
  • In the order confirmation email;
  • In your customer portal at all times following enrollment.

2.2 Itemized Charges

Each recurring charge may include:

  • The product price (at the then-current renewal rate);
  • Applicable shipping fees;
  • Applicable taxes (calculated at the time of renewal based on your shipping address and applicable jurisdiction);
  • Optional add-ons (such as expedited shipping or shipping protection) if previously selected.

2.3 No Hidden or Additional Fees

Chinology does not assess "subscription fees," "membership fees," or other recurring charges separate from the product price, shipping, taxes, and any add-ons listed above.

3. PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS

3.1 Credit and Debit Cards Only

For Subscription Services, Chinology accepts only credit and debit card payments processed through our authorized payment processors. The accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout.

3.2 Wallet and Alternative Payment Methods Excluded

Subscription Services are not available through digital wallet services (such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or alternative payment methods (such as PayPal, Buy-Now-Pay-Later services, or bank transfers), except where expressly indicated at checkout. This restriction enables consistent token portability and uninterrupted subscription processing across our authorized payment processors.

If you wish to enroll in a Subscription Service, you must complete checkout using a valid credit or debit card.

4. BILLING FREQUENCY AND AMOUNT

4.1 Recurring Billing

By completing a subscription purchase, you expressly authorize Chinology to charge your payment method on a recurring basis without requiring additional approval for each transaction.

Billing occurs automatically on the renewal date displayed in your order confirmation email and customer portal.

4.2 Cadence Determined at Enrollment

The billing and shipment frequency applicable to your subscription is the cadence:

  • Validated by you at the time of enrollment on the product page at us-chinology.com (e.g., every 30 days, every 45 days, every 60 days, or any other frequency offered for the relevant product); and
  • Displayed and adjustable at any time within your customer portal at https://www.us-chinology.com/a/loop_subscriptions/customer.

In the event of any apparent discrepancy, the cadence shown in the customer portal at the time of the next scheduled billing date is the controlling cadence for that renewal.

You may modify your billing frequency at any time via the customer portal, subject to the available frequency options for the relevant product. Modifications take effect for the next billing cycle and do not retroactively apply to orders already processed.

4.3 Renewal Date Calculation

The renewal date is calculated based on the date of the most recent successful subscription charge, plus the selected billing interval. If a billing date falls on a weekend or holiday, the charge may be processed on the next business day.

5. PRE-RENEWAL NOTIFICATION

5.1 Reminder Notice

In compliance with applicable card network rules (including Visa Integrity Risk Program requirements) and applicable state automatic-renewal laws, we will send you an electronic reminder notice prior to each scheduled renewal charge.

The reminder will be sent to the email address associated with your account at least seven (7) days before the scheduled renewal date and will include:

  • The next scheduled billing date;
  • The amount that will be charged;
  • A direct link to the customer portal where you can manage, pause, skip, or cancel your subscription;
  • The customer service email address.

5.2 Customer Responsibility

Failure to receive, open, or read a reminder notice (whether due to spam filters, outdated email address, full inbox, or any other reason) does not exempt you from responsibility for the recurring charge or relieve you of the obligation to cancel before the cutoff defined in Section 9 if you wish to avoid the renewal.

It is your responsibility to maintain a valid, monitored email address on file at all times.

6. ACCOUNT UPDATER SERVICE

We participate in account updater services provided by our payment processors and the major card networks (Visa Account Updater, Mastercard Automatic Billing Updater, American Express Cardrefresher, and equivalents).

These services may automatically update your stored payment information (such as expiration date, card number, or new card issued by the same issuer) when your card issuer pushes the updated information through the network.

If your payment information is updated through this service, you authorize us to continue charging the updated payment method for your active subscriptions, without further action on your part.

If you do not wish to have your payment information automatically updated, you must:

  • Remove your stored payment method via the customer portal; OR
  • Cancel your subscription pursuant to Section 10.

7. FAILED PAYMENT RETRY POLICY

7.1 Retry Schedule

If a recurring charge is declined or fails for any reason (insufficient funds, expired card, fraud hold, etc.), you authorize us to:

  • Retry the charge up to four (4) times over a period of fourteen (14) days;
  • Send you email notifications requesting updated payment information;
  • Suspend the next scheduled shipment until payment is received.

7.2 Suspension and Cancellation for Non-Payment

If all retries fail and you do not provide updated payment information within fourteen (14) days of the first failed charge, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled at our discretion. Any past-due amounts remain owed.

7.3 Reaffirmation of Authorization

Your continued enrollment in a Subscription Service constitutes ongoing reaffirmation of your authorization for recurring charges. Updating your payment information on file or successfully completing a retried charge constitutes affirmative reaffirmation of your authorization for current and future charges.

8. CHANGES TO PRICING, FREQUENCY, OR PRODUCT COMPOSITION

8.1 Right to Modify

Chinology reserves the right to update subscription pricing, product composition, shipment quantity, billing frequency, accepted payment methods, taxes, shipping fees, or product availability at any time.

8.2 Advance Notice for Material Changes

For material increases in price or material changes to the subscription terms, we will provide advance notice as required by applicable law. The notice will be sent to the email address on file at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect (or such longer notice as required by applicable law, including California Business & Professions Code §17602 and similar state statutes).

8.3 Acceptance Through Continued Use

Your continued participation in the Subscription Service after the effective date of any modified term constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date of the change.

9. SKIP, PAUSE, AND CANCEL — DEFINITIONS AND DEADLINES

9.1 24-Hour Cancellation Cutoff

To prevent any next scheduled charge, you must complete your cancellation, pause, or skip request at least twenty-four (24) hours before the next billing date displayed in your customer portal.

Requests submitted within the twenty-four (24) hour period preceding a scheduled billing date may not prevent that scheduled charge from being processed.

9.2 Skip vs. Pause vs. Cancel — Important Definitions

These three actions have different effects:

  • SKIP: Skipping a single shipment delays the next shipment by one billing cycle. The subscription remains active. The charge for the skipped cycle is not billed, but the subscription will resume automatically on the following scheduled date.
  • PAUSE: Pausing the subscription suspends it for a defined period (selected by the customer in the portal). The subscription remains active during the pause and resumes automatically at the end of the selected pause duration.
  • CANCEL: Cancellation fully terminates the subscription. No future shipments will be sent and no future charges will be made.

Skipping or pausing your subscription does not cancel it. Unless you fully cancel, recurring charges will resume.

9.3 No Retroactive Effect

Skip, pause, and cancellation requests apply only to future billing cycles. Requests submitted after a renewal charge has already been processed will not reverse that charge or cancel the corresponding shipment, which has been automatically prepared for fulfillment.

10. HOW TO CANCEL — AT LEAST AS EASY AS ENROLLMENT

In compliance with applicable consumer protection laws, including the FTC Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA) and applicable state automatic-renewal laws, cancellation of your subscription is offered through methods that are at least as easy as the enrollment method.

10.1 Online Cancellation via Customer Portal (Primary Method)

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the secure customer portal at:

https://www.us-chinology.com/a/loop_subscriptions/customer

The portal is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and does not require any phone call, mailed letter, or live representative interaction. Cancellation through the portal is effective upon on-screen confirmation.

10.2 Email Cancellation (Alternative Method)

You may also cancel by sending an email to info@us-chinology.com with:

  • Subject line: "Cancel Subscription";
  • The email address associated with your account;
  • Your order or subscription number (if available).

Email cancellation requests are processed within one (1) business day of receipt.

10.3 No Required Phone Call or Interaction With a Representative

Chinology does not require you to call a customer service representative or interact with a live agent in order to cancel your subscription. Any save offer or retention message presented during the online cancellation flow is optional and may be skipped at any time using the clearly labeled cancellation button.

10.4 Cancellation Confirmation

Upon successful cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address on file. Please retain this confirmation as proof of cancellation.

If you do not receive a confirmation email within twenty-four (24) hours of submitting your cancellation request, please contact info@us-chinology.com to verify that the cancellation was processed.

11. EFFECT OF CANCELLATION

Upon successful cancellation:

  • No future recurring charges will be made;
  • No additional shipments will be sent;
  • Any subscription order already processed prior to cancellation (including orders processed within twenty-four (24) hours of the cancellation submission) will be fulfilled and is not subject to refund pursuant to Section 13;
  • Your customer account remains active and you may continue to access your account portal to view past orders, update contact information, or re-subscribe.

Cancellation does not entitle the customer to any refund of past subscription charges, except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.

12. REACTIVATION OF A CANCELLED SUBSCRIPTION

12.1 Re-subscription

If you have previously cancelled a subscription, you may re-subscribe at any time by placing a new subscription order through the Website.

12.2 Pricing Upon Reactivation

Re-subscriptions are subject to the then-current standard subscription pricing displayed at the time of re-enrollment. Promotional, introductory, or first-time discounts are not retroactively applied to reactivated subscriptions and may not be available to returning customers.

12.3 No Reinstatement of Past Benefits

Reactivation does not reinstate past loyalty benefits, accumulated streaks, milestone progress, or other rewards earned during the prior subscription term, except as expressly stated in the loyalty program terms.

13. NO REFUNDS ON PROCESSED SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS

Once a subscription renewal payment has been successfully charged, the corresponding order is automatically prepared for fulfillment and is not eligible for cancellation, modification, refund, or rerouting, regardless of whether the shipment has left the warehouse.

This policy applies even if:

  • The customer subsequently cancels the subscription;
  • The customer claims to have forgotten the renewal;
  • The customer claims to have been unaware of the renewal date;
  • The customer did not open or read the pre-renewal reminder notice referenced in Section 5;
  • The customer's circumstances have changed since the prior order.

Subscription renewal orders are excluded from the 30-day money-back guarantee set forth in our Refund Policy and are not eligible for refund based on dissatisfaction, lack of perceived results, or change of mind.

The full Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy applicable to subscription orders is set forth in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

14. SUBSCRIPTION ELIGIBILITY AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

14.1 Exclusion From Money-Back Guarantee

Unless otherwise expressly stated:

  • Subscription renewal orders (second and subsequent shipments) are not eligible for the 30-day money-back guarantee set forth in our Refund Policy;
  • Promotional discount codes, free gifts, and bonus products may be limited to first-order subscriptions and may not be applied to renewal orders;
  • Promotional pricing displayed at enrollment may apply only to the first order; renewals will be billed at the standard subscription price.

14.2 Right to Limit or Revoke Promotional Benefits

Chinology reserves the right to limit, modify, revoke, or remove promotional benefits at any time, including in cases of:

  • Suspected abuse of promotional offers;
  • Excessive cancellations after first-order discounts;
  • Repeated refunds;
  • Multi-account behavior to obtain repeated first-time discounts;
  • Suspected fraudulent activity.

15. ADDRESS, ACCOUNT, AND CONTACT RESPONSIBILITY

15.1 Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in your customer account, including:

  • Shipping address;
  • Billing address;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Payment method.

15.2 Updates Take Effect Going Forward Only

Updates to your address or payment information take effect for the next scheduled billing cycle and do not apply retroactively to orders already processed.

15.3 Loss of Account Access

You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address used at the time of subscription enrollment. Chinology is not responsible for subscription issues caused by:

  • Loss of access to your registered email address;
  • Outdated contact information;
  • Failure to receive notifications due to spam filters, full inboxes, or technical issues on your side.

If you lose access to your account, contact info@us-chinology.com with verification information to re-establish access.

16. SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND RISK OF LOSS

Subscription shipments are subject to the same shipping, delivery, title-transfer, and risk-of-loss terms as one-time orders, as set forth in Section 10 of our Terms and Conditions.

Title and risk of loss for subscription shipments transfer to you upon delivery of the product to the carrier. Carrier delivery confirmation is conclusive proof of delivery.

Lost, stolen, or undelivered subscription packages are governed by Sections 10 and 11 of our Refund Policy.

17. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES ON SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES

By enrolling in a subscription, you affirmatively acknowledge that recurring charges are pre-authorized by you and are not "unauthorized charges" for purposes of any chargeback or fraud claim.

Chargebacks filed against subscription renewal charges where:

  • The customer has previously consented to recurring billing;
  • The pre-renewal reminder notice was sent to the email on file;
  • The customer did not cancel within the timeframe required by Section 9;

constitute a material breach of these terms and our Terms and Conditions.

In such cases, Chinology reserves the right to pursue all remedies set forth in Section 12 of our Refund Policy and Section 12 of our Terms and Conditions, including:

  • Submitting full chargeback documentation to your card issuer (including your enrollment consent record, pre-renewal notice, billing authorization, order confirmations, and delivery proof);
  • Cancelling all active subscriptions on your account;
  • Blacklisting all associated email addresses, shipping addresses, phone numbers, and payment methods;
  • Refusing future orders;
  • Reporting the chargeback to applicable fraud prevention databases.

18. SUBSCRIPTION SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION BY CHINOLOGY

Chinology may suspend, cancel, or terminate any subscription at our sole discretion, with or without notice (where permitted by law), in the following cases:

  • Failed or declined recurring payments not resolved within the timeframe set forth in Section 7;
  • Suspected fraudulent activity (including stolen card use, identity theft, or organized fraud schemes);
  • Customer breach of these terms or our Terms and Conditions;
  • Repeated chargebacks;
  • Excessive refund requests;
  • Abuse of promotional offers;
  • Public disparagement, harassment, or abusive behavior toward Chinology employees, agents, or representatives;
  • Government order, regulatory action, or compliance requirement;
  • Discontinuation of the subscribed product.

Suspension or termination by Chinology does not entitle the customer to any refund of past charges.

19. ANTI-ABUSE OF SUBSCRIPTION OFFERS

Subscription Services are subject to the anti-abuse provisions of Section 9.6 of our Terms and Conditions and Section 20 of our Refund Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

In the context of subscriptions, abusive patterns include but are not limited to:

  • Repeatedly enrolling in and cancelling subscriptions to capture introductory discounts across multiple accounts, addresses, or payment methods;
  • Using disposable email addresses, virtual cards, or temporary shipping addresses to circumvent first-time eligibility limits;
  • Coordinating with third parties to share, transfer, or aggregate subscription benefits;
  • Filing chargebacks on subscription orders that were properly disclosed and authorized.

Customers exhibiting abusive patterns may have all subscriptions cancelled without refund and be permanently blacklisted from future purchases.

20. NON-TRANSFER AND PERSONAL USE

Subscription Services are personal to the original enrolled customer and may not be sold, assigned, transferred, gifted, shared, or otherwise conveyed to any third party.

Subscription Services are intended for personal household use only and not for commercial resale, redistribution, or use by third parties. Each household is limited to one (1) active subscription per product type, except where expressly permitted by the Company.

21. ELECTRONIC RECORDS AND PROOF OF CONSENT

Subscription enrollment, acceptance of recurring billing terms, agreement to this Subscription Policy, all pre-renewal notifications, all charge attempts, and all customer-initiated changes to the subscription (skip, pause, cancel, modify) are recorded electronically and stored securely.

These records constitute conclusive evidence of your consent to recurring billing and of the proper functioning of the subscription program for purposes of any dispute, chargeback, regulatory inquiry, or judicial proceeding.

You consent to the use of these electronic records as admissible evidence in any such proceeding.

22. STATE-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES

22.1 California Residents

In compliance with the California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq., as amended by AB 2863):

  • All material terms of the Subscription Service (including the recurring nature, billing frequency, charge amount, and cancellation procedure) are disclosed in a clear and conspicuous manner at the point of enrollment;
  • Online cancellation is available through the customer portal without any requirement to call, mail a letter, or interact with a live representative;
  • Pre-renewal reminders are sent in accordance with Section 5;
  • For subscriptions automatically renewing for a term of more than one year, additional advance notice is provided as required by California law.

22.2 Other State Residents

For residents of states with specific automatic-renewal laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., and others), Chinology endeavors to comply with all applicable state-specific disclosure, notice, and cancellation requirements.

If you believe a specific state-law requirement is not being met, please contact info@us-chinology.com so that we may address your concern.

22.3 Federal Compliance

This Subscription Policy is designed to comply with the FTC Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA) (15 U.S.C. §8401 et seq.) and the FTC Negative Option Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 425), as the same may be amended from time to time.

23. FORCE MAJEURE

Chinology shall not be liable for delays or failures in fulfilling subscription orders or processing cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, customs delays, natural disasters, labor disputes, supply chain issues, payment processor outages, pandemic, governmental actions, or internet infrastructure failures.

In the event of a force majeure event, Chinology will use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and will notify customers of any material impact on subscription processing.

24. POLICY UPDATES

Chinology reserves the right to modify or update this Subscription Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least thirty (30) days before the effective date of the change (or such longer notice as required by applicable law).

Continued participation in the Subscription Service after the effective date of any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.

The policy applicable to your subscription at any given time is the version in effect on that date. Archived versions of the policy will be retained for reference.

25. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER POLICIES

This Subscription Policy forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use. In the event of conflict between this Subscription Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail, except with respect to matters expressly governed by this Subscription Policy (subscription enrollment, renewal, cancellation, and related operational rules), in which case this Subscription Policy shall prevail.

This Subscription Policy should be read together with:

  • Our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (in particular Section 13 — Subscriptions);
  • Our Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy (in particular Section 1.2 — Subscription Cancellation);
  • Our Privacy Policy;

26. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Subscription Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and is subject to the binding arbitration agreement, class action waiver, mass action waiver, and jury trial waiver set forth in Sections 21 through 24 of our Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference.

The Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §1 et seq.) governs the interpretation and enforcement of the arbitration provisions.
